Age of Geneses

As this fantasy book series has yet to be published, I will hold back on specifics.   

What I will say, is that I intend my story to be built on a degree of believability, with sufficient room for fantastical to naturally bleed into the narrative.  

My style, I hope, is an intriguing balance of descriptive narration, written in a manner that is clear and pleasant to read.

Though new to the world of novel writing, he has significant experience in technical writing. 

Over his decades long policing career, he produced thousands of pages of affidavits in support of search warrants and wiretap authorizations, for investigations ranging from thefts to homicides. More than half of his policing career, was spent as an investigator, including seven years as a Homicide Detective.    

CS, a father of three beautiful young women and grandfather several times over, is now retired. He lives with his amazing wife, one he likely does not deserve, in Barrie Ontario, where he focuses on writing and home renovations. 

I find myself drawn into a new world of my own creation, filled with friends, fiends, and nemeses who surprise even me as the ink glides across the pages of their lives. 

By design, Age of Geneses has been filled with people from diverse backgrounds and varied orientations. Though at times I may seem a tad old fashioned, I do recognise that our world has become unacceptably monochrome. 

With this in mind, I intend to do my part to address diversity through my writing, but realise that whatever my success as an author, it may have little effect. I have no doubt that there are many reasonable people somewhere between the extremes who see the value of such efforts.  

It is my honest belief that hope for our future can only be found through love and genuine acceptance. We are not perfect, nor will we ever be, but recognising this truth within ourselves, is the first step in  unifying humanity. 

Though not a religious man, I agree that we first need to remove the log from our own eye before we seek the spec in another’s. 

We can but try.
